EAT

We've lived here for years now, and we felt it was finally time to do some decorating.
I've decided that modern farmhouse, a.k.a. fixer-upper from HGTV, is my style. I love the white, crisp yet exposed look.
Our first kitchen project was to add wainscoting and a chair rail to the wall. Our chairs had been digging into the wall, so we needed to do something before we ruined it.
Greg did all of it himself, thanks to his tablesaw and menagerie of woodworking tools. We started with the bead board, then added the rest of it. I painted it a crisp white, and then we painted the top half navy blue.
I love how it turned out!
